Service Descriptions
Comprehensive Porsche oil and filter change using OEM-approved synthetic oil and filter. This service restores proper lubrication, protects turbochargers and timing components, and ensures long-term engine health.
Porsche engines, including flat-six, V8, and turbocharged variants operate under extreme heat and stress that accelerate oil degradation. Routine oil service is critical to protect turbochargers, timing chains, and internal seals from sludge, varnish, and premature wear. Our process begins with a full inspection of the oil pan, drain plug, and filter housing for leaks. We then drain the old oil, replace the OEM filter, and clean the housing for a proper seal. Fresh Porsche-approved synthetic oil (meeting A40, C30, or Mobil 1 factory specifications depending on model) is filled to exact capacity and viscosity. The drain plug and housing are torqued to spec, and the engine is warmed to confirm oil pressure and circulation. Finally, we reset service reminders in the PCM system and document the service. Regular oil changes every 5,000 miles or 6–12 months preserve engine longevity and peak performance.
Service Milestones
Perform first oil change at 1,000 miles to remove break-in debris.
Repeat every 5,000 miles or 6–12 months for optimal engine protection.
In severe use (track driving, short trips, extreme heat), shorten interval to 3,000–4,000 miles.

Porsche cabin air filter replacement improves interior air quality and HVAC performance. Our technicians install OEM-approved filters, inspect the housing, and confirm proper airflow for a clean, comfortable cabin.
The cabin air filter in your Porsche traps dust, pollen, and pollutants before they enter the HVAC system. Over time, the filter clogs and restricts airflow, straining the blower motor and allowing odors or allergens into the cabin. In dusty or urban environments, the filter may clog faster and require earlier replacement. During this service, we replace the filter with a Porsche-approved component, clean and inspect the housing, and confirm HVAC performance. This preventive maintenance keeps your interior fresh, reduces allergens, protects the HVAC system, and maintains the luxury comfort Porsche drivers expect.
Service Milestones
Replace cabin filter at 15,000–20,000 miles or 12–24 months.
Replace annually under normal use.
In dusty or urban environments, shorten interval to 10,000–12,000 miles.

Why San Antonio Porsche Owners Trust Us
Hear From Our Clients
Top notch professionalism and knowledge. Hands down the best shop- incredible and straightforward pricing, extremely knowledgeable mechanics and quick turnaround. Everything that was needed for my vehicle was quoted ahead of time and there were no surprises. They advised potential upcoming maintenance, but did not try to oversell me on services beyond what was needed. They are the best in the business and I will not go anywhere else to maintain or repair my vehicles!
- Google ReviewBavarion Auto Repair offers great customer service ..shout out to Ryan…they fixed our SUV in record time and did not give us the run around or try to upsell us. They are skilled at what they do and operate with integrity. We will be making the 2+ hour drive for any and all vehicle needs from now on.
- Google ReviewFound this shop via a search on Google Maps when my 2015 Cayenne S broke down during a business related trip to the San Antonio area. They were helpful in my first phone call and I decided to have vehicle towed to them for repairs. I knew what broke but it was good to have a shop look the vehicle over and do the repairs, especially given that I do not live in the area. Within a couple of weeks they had it repaired and cleaned up then I picked up the vehicle during another business related trip. I'd recommend them to anyone I know who needs repairs in the shops area.
